It's open and airy interior will impress and the large living room's two-story vaulted ceiling with window wall shows an elegant view of the lake from under the canopy of trees.
Two kayaks are available for a quiet trip in the still waters of the protected bay in front of the cottage. Take advantage of the great fishing in the area, and enjoy the wildlife from the full deck, and large dock on the property.
The Rideau Lakes Region is a great place to explore. You can take advantage of the great fishing, boating, swimming, water-skiing, or lock through the historic canal system to the other attached lakes and towns. In the surrounding towns and cities there are also lots of activities, and events to participate in including, golf, historic tours, boat tours, shopping restaurants, area events, and lots more

Home also features hardwood and tile floors, modern kitchen, walk-out basement, winding path through the trees to the dock, and perfect privacy.
Benson Lake is connected to 6 lakes without going through the locks. Its a quick boat ride to the town of Chaffey's Lock, Newboro, and Westport is just through Newboro Lock. There are public trails in the area including the "Cataraqui Trail". The house has a large deck and at the water there is a nice large dock.
Location:
Benson Lake is near Chaffey's Lock on the historic Rideau Canal. Groceries, restaurants, shopping, golf are in neighboring towns of Westport, Portland, Elgin, and Chaffey's Lock. The city of Kingston is about 40 minutes away, and Canada's capital, Ottawa, is a 1 hour and 20 minute drive.
