This cozy cottage on Opinicon Lake on the Rideau Canal offers all that you could hope for in a cottage getaway. This property has great swimming from the dock or the shared private beach, covered parking for your boat or boats, beautiful surroundings and quick access to the charming local towns. The Opinicon Lake offers great Bass fishing as well as, Pike, Perch, Crappy, and Trout fishing. Other draws to this area are the privacy, wildlife, boating, canoe and kayaking, in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Rideau Canal is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and was rated #2 as an exceptional historic site destination by National Geographic.
The Rideau Lakes Region is a great place to explore. You can take advantage of the great fishing, boating, swimming, water-skiing, or lock through the historic canal system to the other attached lakes and towns. In the surrounding towns and cities there are also lots of activities, and events to participate in including, golf, historic tours, boat tours, shopping restaurants, area events, and lots more!

Included on property: fire pit, air-conditioning in the sleeping area, fully stocked small kitchen, shared access to a private beach, swimming dock, screened-in porch, and covered boat dockage.
Bedding: This cottage has one queen bed in the master bedroom, 2 single beds in the other bedroom, and a pull-out couch in the living area. There is also another small guest cabin where a blow-up bed could be set-up.
This cottage is on a property with two other cottages that share the same docks/property. There will be plenty of room should you have your own boat or two.
